How conscious do you think you are during your daily activities?
Experts tell us that 90% of what we do, is controlled by our subconscious. We do the same things, in the same way, day, after day, after day.
How then do you change this pattern?
By consciously doing things differently.
Try an alternate route to work. Have something different for your meals, or meet with someone else at a new place, choose a novel subject to talk about.
When you consciously choose a new routine, something different from how you usually do things, you will no longer be controlled by your unconscious self.
You are sending new information to your brain, which then by-passes the old habits, and creates a new conscious way of thinking, and doing.
Try it, and see how unconscious you really are on a daily basis.

I guess this is why if we decide to spend a day working at a coffee shop or other location away from our usual spot, we are more productive!
Thanks for taking your time to comment Janet, and yes absolutely, that is the reason. When you consciously change what you’ve habitually done, unconsciously, you become more aware, and consciously be more productive.
